nice idea for a necklace, but it did not deliver all that i hoped. i was aware that the colors might be different, and they certainly were. i also ordered the earrings, and they are completely different colors than the pendant. the big problem for me, is that the tree design does not show up as well as it is pictured; it gets kind of lost in all the sparkles. the pendant is a nice size, but i don't think it was worth the price, even on sale. perhaps if they showed some other possible colors it might turn out, it would help people decide.

I bought this pendant to go with my earrings and I couldn't be more happy. The colours are brilliant and I love the way they shine in the sun. Have received many compliments. I wear mine on a black leather necklace and it looks great.

I just received this piece in the mail today and it is beautiful. The multicolored nature of the piece will allow me to wear it with most anything. The large vale will accommodate most chains, I put mine on a black velvet cord and it is stunning. I would recommend it to all.

I was very satisfied with this pendant and chain. The colors were absolutely beautiful! It was purchased as a gift and the recipient also loved it - great piece of jewelry; wish I had bought one for myself also.... still may.
In 2003 Johana Vazques was a single mom in Guadalajara struggling to support five children on her own when she heard about Dichrodreams -- a local enterprise which taught locals the art of dichroic glassmaking. Johana entered the training program and was soon making beautiful jewelry. She began earning a living wage, and her family's future changed forever.
Johana puts it this way: "Through my hard and skilled work I have been able to give food, shelter, education, and medical attention to my five kids. Two of the older ones now work in the company. It has been a world of opportunities for all of us."
Iridescent dichroic glass is made by combining crystal and metal at high heat, an art form that originated in ancient Rome. The artisans of Dichrodreams took the craft a step further by incorporating sterling silver into the mix in 1999, experimenting with new techniques. The result is an exceptional work of art. Today Dichrodreams jewelry is sold in 55 countries, making it a leader in the dichroic glass and silver jewelry industry.
