From March 2010 to October 2011, the original Touch To GiveTM on thousands of iPhones helped to provide hunger relief, fund breast cancer research, and feed shelter animals.
How did Touch To GiveTM work?
When the app was loaded onto an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad, people choose their cause and tapped the colored Touch To GiveTM button. 100% of revenue from the sponsor ads were used exclusively to help the cause.
What did my touch give?
There were three causes in the Touch To GiveTM app. With The Hunger Site, our community of iPhone tappers paid for 15,020,680 garden seeds for sustainable farming projects. With The Animal Rescue Site, the app gave 2,183,875 treats; food and care for rescued pets in shelters and sanctuaries. And with The Breast Cancer Site's pink button, 1,710,896 seconds of breast cancer research was funded.
